A network of |veins| and arteries carry ~blood~ to and from the mammae (breasts). Large branches of |veins| carry ~blood~ to the axillary (armpit) and internal mammary (breast) |veins|. The arteries suppling the mammae branch from the thoracic branches of the axillary and internal mammary arteries.
